- Q: Do you take insurance?
- A: We do not file insurance. Payments are made at time of service and a super bill can be provided for reimbursement from your insurance providers. How much is refunded is highly variable depending on specific insurance plan and deductible. In general, most patients report receiving reimbursement of at least one half of the billed amount. Note, Medicare/Medicaid does not allow for reimbursement for out of network providers at all. If your plan is a PPO (preferred provider organization), it will likely not provide reimbursement.
- Q: Can I choose which provider to see?
- A: You can request a specific provider. Please note some providers may have sooner availability or be more suited the patient's needs (e.g., age of patient, mental health concerns, etc.).
- Q: How long does it take to get an appointment?
- A: This varies among providers and time of year. We try to keep availability for new patients within a couple weeks of patient being accepted by the practice.
- Q: What are the costs of appointments?
- A: The initial one hour evaluation is $450 and follow up appointments lasting 20 to 30 minutes are $180 (Starting June 1, 2022 this rate will increase to $200). Some providers also offer one hour follow ups which costs $250 (Starting June 1, 2022 this rate will increase to $300).
- Q: What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
- A: We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes early to complete initial paperwork (also available HERE). You should also bring preferred method of payment and insurance information. While we do not file insurance ourselves, we need the insurance information in order to expedite things such as prior authorizations and help with super bill submissions for reimbursement.
